The Rising of
the Shield Hero is a Japanese dark fantasy animated series, led by Takao Abo
and Kigo Koyanagi. The series is an adaptation of a Japanese book by Aneko
Yusagi. The season started on 19 January 2019 and ended on 25 June 2019 with 25
episodes produced by Kinma Citrus. Crunchyroll-Fiction has bought the rights to
the series and renewed a second and a third season. Season 1 turned into a hit
and became quite a fan favorite. The animations were highly spectacular,
attracting viewers to the show with an exciting storyline.

series were now coming together. They could not reveal how much of the original
light novel series would be in this new season, but tease that the giant
tortoise included in the first poster of the new season is a small part of the
